Helios is a comprehensive meditation and mindfulness application that provides:

• Mindfulness practices including Body Scan, Loving Kindness, and Present Moment awareness

• Progress tracking with lotus growth visualization and streak counters
• Customizable background sounds (rain, forest, ocean)
• Achievement system and social sharing features
• Daily meditation reminders and notifications

The Service is designed to support your personal meditation journey and promote mindfulness and well-being.

3. Eligibility and User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Helios app. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use our Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

While Helios operates primarily with local data storage, any account information you provide must be accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any account credentials.

• If you experience any adverse reactions during meditation, discontinue use immediately

Your use of the Service is at your own risk. We disclaim any liability for health-related outcomes from using our meditation practices.

6. Privacy and Data Collection

Helios prioritizes your privacy with a local-first approach to data storage:

• Local Storage: Your meditation sessions, progress, and personal data are stored locally on your device using SQLite database
• Analytics: We may collect anonymized usage analytics through Firebase to improve app performance and stability
• Crash Reporting: Anonymous crash reports help us maintain app stability
• No Personal Data Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share your personal meditation data with third parties
• Optional Sharing: Social sharing features are entirely user-initiated and optional

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The Helios app and all its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, audio files, animations, software, and user interface design, are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. User-Generated Content

9. App Store Terms

If you downloaded Helios from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you acknowledge that:

• These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC
• The respective app store provider has no responsibility for the app or these Terms
• App store terms and conditions also apply to your use of the app
• In case of conflict, the app store terms take precedence over these Terms only regarding app store-specific matters

10. Updates and Modifications

We may update the Helios app from time to time to add new features, improve performance, or fix bugs. We may also modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination
